Oil bubbles and spits out every time i take cap off

Where i put oil in at it bubbles and spits out every time i take cap off. Pull dipstick out and it has some at tip then the next time it has none on stick. Two days ago i put little over half a quart.

are you running the engine with the cap off? if so it will spry oil. i would do a full oil change with a filter and check oil consumption after 1,000 km's please let me know how much it uses and if there is any external leaks that need fixing first.
