No crank no start, how and where do I check ohms and what should I be reading?

My car won't crank or turn over I need to find out if it's the BCM, PCM, ignition control or whatever.

Hello,

There are a number of reasons why an engine may not turn over or start.
It could be due to a faulty starter, ignition switch, weak battery etc.
