Couple of weeks ago my truck just up and shut off on me while I was driving. No problem with the truck until it cutoff. No spark no fuel traced the problem to the ASD relay circuit. I can run a wire from the positive side of battery to the positive of coil and the truck will start ASD run until I disconnect the wire. So I am planning on rewiring the circuit the exact same way it came from factory. My question is the truck now has the following codes. 11, 12, 16, and 55. I understand what the first two are and the last one. But what is the code 16 for I show no code information for that one. I have unhooked battery several times for a day or two then hooked back up started the truck and get all for codes. Does anybody know what the code is for? Thanks in advance and sorry for the long question. But wanted to give all information that I could think of. Also, I have replaced the coil, pickup coil, ASD relay and fuel filter.
