Hi,
When you connect the scanner, does it power on? If not, start by checking fuse 46 in the under-hood fuse box.

Next, in most cases a crank no start is the result of either a fuel or ignition related issue. See if it starts if you use starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it is fuel related. If there is no change, we need to check for ignition spark at the spark plugs.
