OBD2 linking error

I got this Alhambra from 2006 because family is getting big. And I have been fixing small bits in the car. But when i tried to connect my obd2 code reader got the "Linking Error" message, so i bought a better one, a konnwei kw808, but i still got the same problem! Any idea what i can do?
