OBD2 does not link with vehicle

Can't verify spark from any plugs. Verified fuel to fuel rail. Connected code reader tool but wouldn't link to car. Unhooked battery for over 30 minutes and hooked it back up and tried again. Still won't link.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

If the DLC won't connect with the scanner, the first thing I need checked is the power supply to the DLC port. Pin number 16 should be hot all the time. There is a 7.5 amp fuse in the instrument panel fuse box (left side) that provides power the DLC. That can cause a bunch of different issues. I attached a pic of what I am talking about.
