Car does not respond to Obd2?

Hello, i have try to use a obd2 code reader for my car but does not respond to it, it will only tell me the voltage on the battery. i hope you can help. thank you

Hi,

Does the scan tool power up? If it does (it sounds like it does), then we need to check the chassis and signal ground pins for ground. I attached general info below.

Take a look at the pics below and let me know what you find. Check grounds and confirm pin 16 has B+ voltage.
