I have installed this engine and transmission into a 1951 Chevrolet. I am using the stock computer and am getting trouble codes 95 (oil life) and 97 (4K pulses). I can find no other information for either code or how to keep them from reappearing. Can you help?

Without knowing what all you transferred over it is hard to answer your question. However, I attached the info and testing about these codes.

Let us know if you have questions as you work through this.

I now understand the wiring that causes these codes. Thanks.
However, I have a new problem. The car has sat for over a week but now will not run. I had it running well last time I started it It starts as it should but shuts off within a few seconds. The fuel pressure is good. It doesn't run long enough to get any real info from my test equipment and hasn't set any codes. I used the stock engine and transmission but removed all the emissions systems. I have a tuner that allowed me to turn off VATS, EGR, and other non-essential items. The car ran very good last week.

Okay. Thanks but unfortunately we need to get a new post started for this. We need to keep each post to one topic so that others can find the solutions if they have the same issues.

Let's post this info on a new post and we will figure out what to do. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.
