OBD-II port is not getting power?

I changed my car battery and after that the key remotes are no longer working and the OBD-II port is no longer getting power.

It sounds like you had a power surge, and some fuses might have blown. Let's use this guide to check the fuse and in particular the fuse for the OBD2 port which is fuse# 18 in the fuse panel under the hood on the left side.

Also, can I ask if the battery was connected backwards? Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hello. Changning fuse 18 worked so thank you very much for your help. I think there was surge from one of the boosters I used to start the car when the battery was dead. Thank you again!
