We took our car into Safelite to replace the windshield. When they connected their scanner to the OBD2 port they could not get a reading. So, first of all I need to know which pin to check on the port for power and I need to know which fuse is associated with it. Thank you for your time.

Hello,

First check that fuse F21(10A) in under-hood fuse block is intact.

How to check fuse:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

At the DLC pin 16, white wire, has constant 12V supplied by fuse F21.
At the DLC pins 4+5, black wire, are the ground

You can check for power and ground at the DLC using either a voltmeter or a test light.

How to use:

and

Hey Boris, hope you are well. It turns out there was a problem with their scanner. I bought my own scanner and it connected immediately. Thanks for your time.
