OBD 0 to OBD1?

I have f22a6 engine with F22a4 wiring and because of the changes i am getting d4 blinking about solenoids short. Based on what i have read, it seem i have obd0 trying to connect 0bd 1. How do fix the transmission fault. Is there a pin connector or harness i need? The ecu and ptu are from an A6 engine to match. Thank

To retrieve the code thats causing the light to blink you need to loacate diagnostic port under the right side passenger kick panel just under the glove box ..its a blue colored 2 wire plug just open not plugged in to anything you need to jump the two wires using a small wire or paperclip ..the the light on the dash will begin to blink a long blink is 10 the short blinks are 1 add them together that is the code for the specific problem amd where to start looking good luck hope this helps

What vehicle did the A6 come out of. Other than a couple minor changes and a slightly different ECU tuning they are pretty much the same engine. Both would be under OBD1 and can use the flash code Mechtrix stated as long as it was connected during the swap. Did this start right after the swap or has it been running OK until now?
