We did not take the electrical connector apart before removing the o2 sensor. Therefore, the wires were pulled out of the connecting end part. Then, while trying to remove the piece from the connector, the clip broke. How do I remove the end from the connector so I can connect the new end after I install the new o2 sensor?

Either you need to connect the wiring directly or you need to get a new pigtail end for the oxygen sensor. Here are the oxygen sensor wiring diagrams so you can see how the wiring goes and the connector view as well. You didn't tell me which sensor it is so here are all the sensor diagrams. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hi,

Do you mean the pins in the connector? I'm sorry. I'm trying to picture what you are dealing with, and I'm confused. Not being there makes it a bit more difficult. LOL Is it possible for you to take a couple of pictures of it and upload them for me to see?

Let me know.
