I have the car listed above DC. My check engine light on, when test for the codes it's said the o2 sensor for heater. I change the one under the hood, but when I went to change the one under the car. I couldn't find it. There is no catalytic converter. What do I do to turn the check engine light off?

Good morning,

Sounds like someone removed the catalytic converter and there should be an O2 sensor at the catalytic converter. If there is no sensor, then there is a wire connector there for hooking one up. That would be the reason for the check engine light because it sees an open circuit for the downstream O2 sensor.

I attached a picture of where the connector is located and where the sensor should be.

I would install the converter as it should be there by federal law and then hook up the sensor.
