Hi,

The first code, B15D0 usually is set when there is a short to one of the speakers. The system is designed to prevent damage to the tuner or amp by removing power to the speakers. When you turn the radio on, can you hear any noise at all?

The B15D3 is related to the communication between the tuner and the audio amp. This DTC is stored when an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the radio receiver assembly and stereo component amplifier assembly. Since it appears you have lost control at the tuner, I suspect that is where the issue is.

However, to diagnose it properly, I need to know if it is an 8-speaker system or not. See pic below. Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

We have several codes that seem to lead me to believe there may be an issue with the wiring itself. I'm not sure how much help I'll be from here, but I'll give it a shot.

After reviewing the codes you provided, I attached the diagnostics below B153D. This is where I would start because it checks power and communication lines between the tuner and amp. Additionally, it will also check the components. Take a look and let me know if this is something you are comfortable performing.

Take care,

Joe
