I have a 1993 NV3500 that I am rebuilding but it has a broken bracket under the shift tower in the shifter rail. I have searched online for this bracket and have only come up with 2 posts in forums in which they show this same broken bracket. My question is can it be replaced? If so, where? I have only seen one parts diagram online (Ken L posted it in a previous thread) that shows this bracket but no parts listing with it. 2nd question is do I need this bracket if I get a new shifter that has centering springs built into them. I suspect this bracket is for the centering. I've enclosed pics of my issue and the parts diagram as well. I believe it is part #11.

You will need to find a wholesale transmission part supplier or call the dealer for the parts needed. Here is another exploded view this could help clarify things. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for your reply. Do you happen to have the parts list from the image I posted? I would like to actually find out the name of that bracket before I dig further. The exploded view you just posted does not have this part I am looking for. I am thinking that it was a flaw in the production of the NV3500 and they took it out which is why I cannot find it.
