Hi,

Let's focus on the running issues first. Since you know there is a cylinder two misfire, let's try something. First, if you haven't checked the spark plugs conditions, do that first. If they appear to be okay, I want you to switch cylinder 2 coil pack with one from a different cylinder. At that point, clear the code to turn off the check engine light and see if the same code returns or if it is different indicating the misfire changed cylinders. Right not you likely have a P0302. See if it changes.

Also, note there will be a spark plug wire (short one) between the coil and the spark plug. Confirm it is in good condition and tight at both ends. When you inspect it, check for grayish spots on the rubber boots that could indicate it is arcing.

Let me know when the last tune up was done as well.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care and I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.

Joe
