All the lights in the car are working just fine, but the taillights and the license light are not. I have visual inspected all the fuses related with the lamps and they seem to be fine. Do you know exactly which one is the one that is directly related with those two lights?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

There are two fuses for the rear taillights and license plate light. The license plate light gets power from the same fuse as the left rear taillight. I attached a pic below from the wiring schematic for you to see which fuse box and fuses.

Pics 2 and 3 show location of the fuses in the box. When you check the fuses, in addition to checking the fuse condition, make sure there is power going to the fuse.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,
Joe

Thanks so much for your time!!
Sorry I had to wait until I got a multi-meter... all the fuses in both fuse boxes seem to be fine when measuring the resistance. But I have found that F7 and F8 are not getting power! When measuring the DC in some other fuse I was reading about 14V, but not in fuses F7 and F8.
So now I am pretty confused since I have no idea what elements are before the fuse box. What do you suggest I should do at this point?

By the way; I turned the ignition on just to make sure that was not the problem.

Hi,

The fuses should have power when the lights are on. Power comes from the park lamp relay. If there is no power with the lights on, check the relay. If there is another one with the same part number, switch them. If there isn't, here is a link that shows how to check a relay:

The relay is in the passenger compartment. Pic 2 shows location.

Let me know.
