I am recently having problems with my vehicle and brought it to my local mechanic. I personally feel that they are not only overcharging me, but I am not completely sure what all the repairs are for. I was told that I need my MAP sensor replaced and I am aware of what that is, but they also said I need rail service. That I have no idea what it is. Can you please explain? Thank You

that is the fuel rail they are talking about and probably want to run a cleaner through it to clean injectors. your manual should say if they need servicing or not and at what mileage check in there.
