I replaced a new master switch on the driver side window and now the car won't start. It does click when I try to turn it over by the fuse box and the lights and everything turns on and battery is fully charged. Car won't start.

Hi,

I attached a pic below showing the entire starting system wiring schematic. There really isn't anything related to the switch you replaced, so I'm not sure if it is a weak battery (I realize you said it's fully charged), a loose battery terminal, a faulty starter and the list goes on.

Did you have the battery disconnected when you replaced the switch? If you did, confirm the terminals are clean and tight.

Next, confirm fuse 8 in the battery junction box is good. In addition to checking the fuse, confirm there is power to and from it.

Pic 2 shows fuse location.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

Hi, I ended up replacing a fuse but even though I replaced the master switch for the windows the driver side window is the only one that won't roll up or down.

Hi,

Do me a favor, check for power out at the switch. See the attached pic. The yellow wire should have power when selecting up and the white will have power when the switch is in the down position.

Let me know if there is power. You can use a test light, just make sure you have a good ground so we are sure there is or isn't power.
