Not starting

Hit a pot hole damaged the oil pan, oil got low enough the shut engine off. Changed oil and filter, but not wanting to start, when go to turn over it acts like it wants to but not getting fire, went thru all steps but just won't turn over

try resetting security system if no manual look online.

It sounds like the engine maybe locked up, does the engine turn over normally?

Normaly it does, can be turned by hand, it's not locked up, like I said, it wants to but not , and it does not have a security light that comes on. Would it be possibly be that the brain needs a reboot.

The timming belt is good, so that eliminates that, changed crank shaft sensor , the oil sensor cut the engine off, we even tried changing the coil pak, when you go to crank the car it seems as tho it wants to turn over but doesn't. Like there is no compression. It not getting the fire it needs to start.

check the compression on this. if timing is off on cam it will have low compression

Well it turns out that, from a friend's mechanic, that not only low compression but oil pressure is nil, also. Timming and components good, cam shaft and I'm guessing the housing for cam messed up got metal shavings in there. He said it would cost me 21st to much to fix, that I'd be better off getting another vehicle. I appreciate your help and keeping you in address book, lol. You guys are wonderful. Thank you again.
