Started out with the cluster going crazy the rpm is stuck on the right side now. The linkage is off to the gears and the transmission isn't changing like it should plus the van stalls and shuts off when you stop.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

It sounds like more than one issue. Is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? If it does, have you scanned the computer for codes?

As far as the stalling, it could be several things. Most common is an engine vacuum leak or a bad idle air control valve (IAC). The IAC is responsible for maintaining idle speed. However, since you are having other electrical issues, I wonder if there is a ground related issue.

Tell me, when you shift into drive, does the shift indicator indicate drive?

Here is a link that explains how to check for a vacuum leak which could be the stalling issue:

Let me know about the shift indicator as well as the check engine light

Take care,
Joe

Yes, the check engine light stays on. When scanned it gives me the code for misfiring. When in park my shifter says R. So in drive I'm actually in 2 by the indicator. I was leaning more so towards the computer trying to go out but not real sure how that works or the signs I would be having.
