My car will go in reverse, first and second gear perfectly but when it comes to any gear after that it does not seem to happen. I am getting a huge rev like I am in neutral. I have changed out my speed sensor and it still doing the same thing can anyone help?

Hello again,

unfortunately, that is an internal failure in the transmission itself. when it neutrals out like that, it is either a clutch or piston failure internally.

oh wow, so what is the best thing to do in repairing it or would it be a waste of time and just get a new one?

you could either have it rebuilt or replace it with a used unit. the used one would be a lot cheaper.
