I have replaced the water pump, radiator, cooling fan assembly, fan sensor, thermostat and radiator cap. The car does not overheat but it over fills the overflow bottle and I lose fluid. I had bubbles with the radiator cap off and I thought it might be a head gasket, I put some head gasket repair in and then flushed it. The bubbles are gone but it still acts like it over heating. The temperature gauge does work.

Hi,

What you described does sound like a head gasket issue. It sounds like compressed air from one or more cylinders is leaking into the cooling system.

We need to perform a chemical test to see if exhaust gases are entering the cooling system. Here is a link that explains what to look for. If you page down to step 4, it explains how to perform the chemical test.

Try this and let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
