Not going into gear

Noticed this morning that I had to let off the gas for it to shift into gear then lost all power. Turned the truck back on and it starts just will not go into gear at all. Help.

This sounds like you have an input shaft sensor that has shorted out but to be sure lets run the codes to see what comes up here is a guide you can get a code reader from Amazon for $20.00.
