Not getting fuel to fuel rail

I have installed the high and low pressure fuel pumps both are runnung fine but I am not getting fuel to the rail. I dropped gas tank and out fuel pump in a can with gas and it seemed to push fuel out the top of pump could pump be wired wrong or pum backwards or maybe fuel lines to front crossed please help.

Yes, it could be any of those things. You need to start at the tank testing pressure and volume and find out where you are losing it.

If the fuel pump is wired wrong in the tank can it cause it to reverse flow?

If it's not using the case for a ground, yes.

If the pump has 2 wires that actually go inside of the pump, then the polarity can be reversed but if it has a single wire going into the pump and relies on the housing for a ground, it will just blow a fuse if reversed. I expect it is reversible.

It has two wires going into tank and three wires at the top outside of unit where can I find a diagram of how to hook it up correct

The ground wire is Black
Fuel pump power is pink with black
Fuel gauge is yellow with white

I don't know what to tell you. Those are the correct colors for the vehicle you gave me. Look around and see if there is a splice with color change somewhere.

Also when I dropped the tank the sending unit was not secured with the ring or seal it has a vent hole for a vent plug nothing was in it just about a 1 to 1 1/2 inch wide open hole
