needed new belts , change them now car will not fire.

Unfortunately this is not a US market car, so I cannot give you any specific help. What I can say is that it is possible that the crankshaft position sensor got disconnected, or something along those lines. So definitely take a close look around under the hood and see if anything is disconnected. That sensor is usually located right next to the crankshaft pulley. Otherwise start checking fuses.
