Not engaging fourth gear

Good day,
My car does not engage gear fourth gear , if it happen to engage it will mostly stuck in gear four. all the sensors were replaced, the flow, knock and gearbox speed sensors, but to no avail. Every time when it does engaging this gear the engine light will come on.

have a transmission professional scan for codes, but it is probably in need of a rebuild.

When the engine light comes on can you read the trouble codes so we can go from there?
