I put a new fuel pump in my truck this past Sunday. I have a new crank sensor on my truck as well I cleaned throttle body and replace air filter. When I try to start my truck, it turns over but cuts off after I try to start. What could be the problem? I had the motor rebuilt, new transmission, new plugs, wires, and coil packs. I haven’t changed the throttle body nor starter.

Hi,

When you say it cuts off, do you mean the starter motor cuts off or the engine starts and stalls right away?

If it is the starter motor, check the starter relay. It is located in the under-hood fuse box. See pic below.

Switch it with a different one having the same part number and see if it changes.

Let me know.

Joe
