Might be the cable between the alternator and the batery id check it ay the alternator with the car running should read anywhere between ideally 13.4 & 14.6 Less ? Bad alt ..more? bad alt ...you can also check the continuity and resistance in the same cable disconnected between the alternator and the positive batery clamp the acually could be a break in the cable or extream corrosion somwhere along the way..good luck

Oh and a side note this charging issue could easily be due to the ecu not turning it on At the alternator its not good to bypass the ecu gotta keep it as designed if the voltage isn't being delivered properly it would be best to find and repair the problem properly always going in the direction of restoring it back to the original configuration on hondas its usually on a switched line thats governed by ralays and fuzes to protect it just in case theres a problem along thè path.. if you go around those you could easily ruin the ecu .. just food for thought hope this helps good luck

On that vehicle the charging sytem is turned on and of by the ecu /ecm
So maybe try checking the (ASD relay and fuze ) first and formost then the field control wire at the back of the altenator then at the ecu/ecm it might be damaged dis connected corroded and so on .. its worth checking there next ...good luck
