I changed the thermostat and bled the line to get air out. Then it won't blow heat wife drove it and it started to work for her then she shut it off quit working. My temperature gauge in the car while you start it and let it run and idle 10 to 15 minutes it only gets 1/4 the way up and no heat then drive it and the temperature gauge goes down. So what's the issue?

Hi,

It sounds like the new thermostat is stuck open. Was it doing this prior to the replacement? Also, try this and let me know what you find. Allow the engine to get warm while the heater is on. Shut the engine and feel both heater core hoses. One should be hot and the other just slightly cooler.

Let me know what you find. Also, I would replace the thermostat again. I think you got a bad one.
