No start after replacing crank position sensor

Car had typical symptoms of a bad crank sensor. So replaced it and now no fire, no start. Even re-installing the old sensor will not cause it to fire now.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) located on the left front of the engine just below the valve cover. The CMP on your vehicle is responsible for sending a signal to your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) to fire the engines fuel injectors and the Coil On Plugs (COP)(s). Without this sensor working properly, your vehicle will not start. In the diagrams down below I have included a diagram on the location of the CMP on your vehicle.I have also included a link below for you to go to.
