My speedometer display screen 78100-sna-a131 (LCD1) and fuel level display screen (LCD3) were not displaying the speed digits and bars properly. After opening the unit, I observed that there was a thin sheet of nylon/gel like material that was used to cover the display/Screen. This material has deformed and looks wrinkled, hence why the digits and bars were not legible. I thought removing it would solve the visual problem, but it turned out that when removed, you see nothing but amber light being emitted.
I would like to know if this nylon-like material can be gotten as it is what makes the digits and bars visible.

Regards,
Kema

It must be some kind of dielectric gel over the LCD readout, I would get a rebuilt cluster by searching Google or eBay. Here is how to replace the cluster correctly in the images below. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
