So, all of my wheel bearings are new. New calipers rotors and cv axles but when I'm coasting to a stop or braking at low speed there is a slight scraping or grinding noise. I was concerned it was the transmission but when I accelerated the trans shifted and down shifted smoothly.

Hi,

It is possible that the brake pads used for replacement are causing the sound you hear. Pads are manufactured using different components. Some can make noise.

When you are coasting at low speeds and hear it, does the sound change in volume or pitch when the brakes are applied?

Let me know.

Joe

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. It could be the parking brake shoes or one of the backing plates is touching the brake rotor. Also can you tell if it is coming from the front or rear of the truck?
