Does it change if you turn while moving? Is this a stick or auto trans? Does stepping on the brake make any difference?

Nope. It's an automatic. No change when turning or applying brakes.

How about you put your foot on the brake pedal to hold it in place and put it in drive. Then hit the gas and then let up do that a few times can you hear the noise?Sounds like you might have a weak belt tensor.

Can you make a video of the sound post it and give us a link? Noises can be a problem to diagnose because they are subjective to describe.
