So, I noticed there is this noise in the dash, to me it sounds like the vent blend doors are going crazy flipping back and forth, but the vents seem to be blowing correctly based on another question I posted earlier. It seems to calm down after driving for a bit as well. What else could it be on these vans or where should I start looking?

Based on what is happening we need to start with accessing the actuators because I suspect you are correct that this is one of the doors moving or attempting to move.

What happens is these doors go through a calibration each time the vehicle starts. Basically, they are commanded to a specific position, and they need to go there and return to where they are set and if they do it then they pass the calibration.

If they do not, then they will continue to be cycled until they pass, or it is timed out. So, if you are hearing the doors like a clicking noise or clunking and the air is not changing temp or vent position then the actuator is likely stripped, and this is the noise you are hearing.

So, this means we need to access each door and touch the actuator to find out which one is causing the noise.

I am attaching each location below with nice pictures of it.

Please let us know what you find, and we can go from there. Thanks
