The speedometer and cruise control on my van no longer work. They make no sound that might indicate a problem and just don't move.
We put in a cluster panel, but that did not solve the problem. We have had several mechanics try to fix the problem -- including the mechanics at a Honda dealership. None of them have been able to diagnose the problem. They have suggested several things -- including the cluster panel-- but everything has just cost us a lot of money and not solved the problem. The problem started right after we had modules put in to repair the automatic doors, but I don't know if that is relevant or not.

Hi mtg2424,

Thank you for the donation.

The cruise control needs signals from the speedometer to operate so we should concentrate on rectifying the seedometer first.

Was any code retrieved from the PCM ?

Does gear shifting feels erratic? A missing vehicle speed sensor signal would cause erratic gear shifting.

Yes to your question. The speedometer, cruise control and driver's multiplex control are related to the power sliding door.

Show the following diagram to the guy checking and he should understand. This is part of the engine wire schematics. The blue/White wire is connected from Terminal E26 of PCM. Test should be done if it is providing any signal.
