This morning, when I started my truck at 6 am to go to work there was a scraping noise. It seemed to come from under the truck, possibly the front, but not sure if it was the center or back. So my mechanic said the front bearing hub was bad but I nee to save money and want to do the job myself.

Good morning,

I attached the procedure for you for the repair.

You are going to need airpower for the retaining nut for the bearing and a torque wrench for tightening it back up.
