noise from rear of engine

In reverse it makes a drumming type noise especially on a gradient. also, In forward drive then it seems to quiet down.

we have no information on these cars as they are not sold in USA. but, have a transmission professional look at it.

That sounds like a bad dual mass flywheel. If you set the brake, put it in first gear and slowly let the clutch out until it starts to grab does it shudder or shake? If yes that's likely the problem.
