There is aloud ticking noise on the top of the engine under the valve covers?

I have squirts of oil under the engine, periodic like there's pressure in the crankshaft also there is a loud ticking noise on the top of the engine under the valve covers.

It sounds like a rocker arm has gone bad or you have a broken valve spring. I would remove the valve cover and with a flashlight check the springs and rocker arms. If you upload a short video of the noise, I can tell for sure. Here is a guide that can help, and I have included how to remove the valve cover in the images below.
