I had to replace the clutch. Using a Haynes manual I got the task done, but after all was reassembled the engine would not start. I followed the manual marking the distributer position and all that, but the timing is incorrect. After determining TDC I inspected the timing marker on the chain cover it is as pictured in the manual, but there is no mark to correspond on the pulley (harmonic balancer) Do you have any ideas? The timing needs to be 8degrees BTDC, Thank you

Thank you for the quick response. I found the mark you pictured (not very big or obvious) moved it to the 8 degree point then reinstalled the distributor. I was disappointed as the car doesn't even try to start. Back to the drawing board. (New cap, rotor, plugs and wires no reason for the failure). Hoping to avoid taking it to a shop. Thank you again.
