I just bought this truck, used. The cab lights are out, side marker lights are out, front and rear park lights are out. Brake, turn and backup lights work fine. When the key fob unlocks the truck's front and rear park lights flash. I've checked fuses #28 & #29 (right and left parking lamps) and no power to fuses.

Hi,

The two fuses you mentioned won't have power until the trailer/park lamp relay is activated. The relay is under the hood. It will be a four-pin relay. I need you to remove the relay. On the relay, each pin will be numbered. Pins 85 and 86 are the primary side. Pins 87 and 30 are the secondary side. Using the relay as a guide, determine which connectors in the box match to numbers 30 and 86. Test if there is power present at those two connectors and let me know what you find. Also, let me know if this is a 2500. I am going off the 2500 wiring schematics.

Note: I did attach a couple of pics below. Pic 1 shows the relay/fuses and pic 2 shows the power supply to the relay. Additionally, here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

Hello Joe, problem fixed. The parking light relay was not easily located by cover diagram and was missing when I found slot for it. A new relay was installed, and all the lights work. Thanks for your time and assistance.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue. I had a feeling it may be related to the relay.

Regardless, take care of yourself, and feel free to come back anytime in the future.
