Hey everyone,

I have a C1500 5.7L Vortec. I have been working on and I need help. I replaced the lower intake seal and in doing so removed the battery, alternator, A/C compressor, valve covers, distributor cap and distributor, ignition module, ignition wiring, and all other sensor/wiring connected to it.
After putting in new seals and reconnecting everything I thought I had done a good job until I turned the key. It cranks continually but will not actually start. I am certain all my ignition wires and connected to the appropriate spots on the distributor cap, my only idea is if I put the distributor in wrong? I wanted to see if anyone here has any ideas before I try it though in case I make something worse. Thanks for any support I can get!

The first two links should be very helpful if you pull the distributor. Watch both.

I believe the second will cover your issue (starting from scratch).

Return with good news.
