Scanned with Inovo OBD tool. No connection with PCM. Purchased Autel MS 906 BT scanner. No connection to PCM, no connection to dash module. Pinned out OBD connection. 4 to5.28 mv. 4 to 16 12.6 v. 4 to 14 2.39. 6 to 14 key off 62. 4 ohms. 4 to 6 .900 Code 16 flashing on dash. Checked all fuses, relays, all grounds at fuse box and body. Changed PCM but may have connections reversed on second and third camlock connectors. Is the Connector with the black offset wiring support the middle connector or is it the bottom connector. Harness is behind brake booster and has a long harness where as the engine side has the top connector which is bigger and a 3 to 4 inch short connector and and is closer to the bottom connection? Changed computers. Still showing no connection to PCM. Disconnected the fuel pump module and re-scanned the codes. ABS went from four to 2, SRS still at four. Able to turn cluster on and make gauges move as a result of installing new fuel pump module. Dashed worked as usual will testing. Still no com to PCM. Put old PCM in and still no com. Put new refurbished PCM back in vehicle.
4 weeks of testing this and that, scanning, resetting code {code 16 still flashing} no connection to PCM. I'm at wits end. Old and gray headed but I can't give up. Dealer said good luck!

Hi,

I attached three pictures below showing the PCM plugs. Take a look and see if you can identify them by color to confirm you didn't switch the connectors.

Let me know.

Yes, and thank you. I ordered a shop manual Monday from Mitchell 1 but cannot use it as it does not populate the wiring diagrams. Says: downloading and after a few minutes goes back to the home page. Mitchell said they would reply within 48 hours with a fix. Great! The nightmare just keeps going. I need to back pin the voltage to the PCM, I need to trace the high and low side of the can-bus wiring as this is where the communication problem would be located. Either a B+ failure or a short or open in the low side of the can-bus wiring. Jumping the Starter Relay turns the engine over. Pcm is not sending the ground circuit to the starter relay. I jumped the PCM relay also. No start.
The reason I say low side is the B after the no connection to the PCM/ B. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks,
Roy Stanley
