Will not stay running after replacing the turn signal switch and clock spring?

Replaced broken turn signal switch and clock spring. I reconnected the battery; the car cranked and started and shut off three times and nothing after that. No bus came up and red-light alarm came on dash.

It sounds like you have wrong/defective parts but to be sure let's do a CAN scan to see which codes come up, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
