I realize the immo light stays on without blinking, it just stays on, when I insert the key to the run position it goes out even when I crank the car it remains off. I got of p1610 and p1612.

So you have an issue with this system. I attached the procedure for these codes. Do you have a scan tool that can run through these tests?

Unfortunately there are no tricks to try and bypass these tests so we just need to go from them.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

Hi Kenny, I noticed they had swap the immo to L instead of A, I don't know if I am sure, but I think my car listed above uses A not L for immobilizer antenna.

If so I think that is where the communication cuts off. Please do share with me your thoughts on this.

Yeah. I would have to assume the diagram is correct so if your vehicle doesn't match this then I would think that is the cause of the no communication.

Hi Kenny, I found A immo, it now blink normally once in 3 seconds, but I can' find my ECU when I scan the car. So am working the the ground wire hope that will help. But if you have any suggestions on what I should check please do let me know. Thanks

I am not sure I completely understand. You are trying to use your scan tool and it is not able to communicate with the vehicle? Does the vehicle start after you replaced the immo?

No it does not. Here are the dtc I got from the ECU: p1564, p1615, p1610 and p1122. I am not sure if I have to reprogram the key again. The immo security light blinks once in 3 seconds, which I think it's an indication that it's working well.

The P1615 and 1610 are related to the replacement. I attached the info for these. The P1122 I think is a different issue so I attached the diag for that as well. However, I would run through the key process and unlocking process the other codes talk about and then see what comes back.

Thanks Ken, it was successful! I followed all test diagrams, and I was able to understand what I was dealing, after making sure my ground wires were all in good condition. I used the autel maxisys ms908pro to reinitialize the key programming, and that was able to start the car.

Thanks a million. It was so challenging. I have been on this car for just abut 10 days, no way to get this car started. When you came in you brought more light. I needed more information, and you brought that. So I carefully followed and understood well how it works, so I became confident I was going to get this done, and I did. I am in Cameroon, west of Africa, I am a fast and quick learner.

Wow! You really are a fast learner if you were able to work through this. You should be proud of yourself because many of the mechanics I work with here in the USA would not have been able to follow this as it was a complicated issue.

Great work and thanks for the update.
