I was driving back from a town 30 minutes away and right as I was getting home, the throttle stopped responding completely. Car did not shut off. I rolled onto the side of the road and attempted to launch again. Car would roll if I put in drive or reverse but as soon as I touched the throttle, it would sputter and try to shut off. Sitting in neutral or park, I could rev the motor up with no issues so doesn't seem like a fuel issue. The next day, I was able to make it to work with a few tries. Later, I couldn't get it to accelerate at all even after trying multiple times. After a few days, I took the vehicle to my school to be worked on. Car then ceased to start at all. Changed various sensors, fuel pump, and did a few more things to no avail. It has been sitting up for about a year now, but I'd like to get it running.

Hi,

There are many things that can cause a crank no start condition. Ignition spark, timing, fuel, compression are just a few. Now, has anyone checked to see if it is getting spark and fuel to the engine? Does the engine sound the same as it always did when cranking it?

Here is a link that shows the most common causes of a crank no start condition. If you get a chance, look through it and see if it helps.

Let me know.
