found timing belt partially cut through outer cover?

Shut off while driving, found timing belt partially cut through outer cover and after getting to the timing belt found with no lugs at all, tensioner destroyed. Replaced all and set timing and no start, a couple puffs when first turn the key but nothing. No codes, obd2 seems to be communicating okay. New crank and cam sensor and coil pack. Shaped auto shut down relay with low fan relay with no change.

Hi,

I believe this has an interference engine. If engine timing was off far enough when the belt failed, there could be internal damage done to the valves or tops of the pistons.

Is it possible for you to record it cranking and upload it for me to hear? I should be able to determine if there is a compression issue.

Or here is a link that explains how to test engine compression. You will need a compression gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.
