No start I changed the lock cylinder?

So, I changed the lock cylinder on my car a few weeks ago, it ran fine after that for about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden it started getting stuck in the on position. I'd have to pull a key back and by the end of that day it just doesn't start at all. now the key just turns like there's no grip or nothing to it and none of my dash lights come on my radio comes on my windows roll down but none of the dash lights come on whatsoever.

It sounds like the lock rod gears et is not working correctly or the ignition lock itself is defective and needs to be replaced, I could tell more if you upload a short video of the problem, in the meantime here are the instructions on how to do the job in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
