Engine cranks but does not start?

My vehicle cranks over normally but will not start. I was told by a neighbor to check to see if fuel pump comes on when I cycle the ignition on which it does. We then checked to see if we were getting a spark at the plugs which we weren’t.

The most common cause of spark loss is a faulty crankshaft position sensor. Take a look through this link and let me know if any of the symptoms were experienced prior to failure:

Also, if you have a live data scan tool, check for an RPM signal when cranking the engine. If there isn't one, the sensor is my first suspect.
