Hi,
This is a straight-forward job. If everything is properly connected, it should be fine. Do me a favor. Check to see if there is spark to the plugs. Here is a link that shows how that is done:

If there is no spark, you may have gotten a bad part or one of the pins in the connector may have been damaged.
I attached the directions below for removal and replacement. You can take a look through them and see if that is what was done.
Let me know. Also, let me know what code was set that led to the replacement of the CKP.
